‘Brady Bunch’ Alum Maureen McCormick Steps Out in Rare Public Appearance With Husband Michael
Maureen McCormick was recently spotted out and about in Los Angeles with her husband, Michael Cummings.
On August 19, the 69-year-old Brady Bunch alum — who famously portrayed Marcia Brady — was photographed grocery shopping at the swanky Erewhon grocery store and grabbing lunch at the vegan spot Follow Your Heart Market & Café with her husband.
The actress kept her outfit casual, donning a yellow button-down shirt, black jeans, white sneakers and shades. She kept her long locks pulled back in a ponytail. Meanwhile, Cummings, who sported salt-and-pepper colored hair, opted for a blue long-sleeve t-shirt, shorts, and sneakers.
The husband-and-wife duo tied the knot in 1985 and share one daughter: Natalie, 36.
McCormick, who has been sober for over 40 years, credits Cummings for helping her through her drug addiction after the cancellation of her hit sitcom in 1974.
“He came to me and said, ‘If you ever do this drug again, I’m gone, I’m leaving.’ It woke me up,” McCormick told Us Weekly in 2024.
A source told the Examiner last week that the couple — who celebrated their 40th anniversary in March — has “been happy ever since” she got sober.
“She’s healthy and appreciating every day as it comes,” the source remarked. “She’s just living her best life.”
