“Most of the time Camilla bites her tongue and lets [Prince William] lead the anti-Sussex lobbying,” says the insider. “But there are certain instances where she does speak up, and this summer trip is one of them.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected to return to England in July to celebrate the one-year countdown to the 2027 Invictus Games, the BBC News reports, and will be accompanied by their two young children, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5.
Camilla, 78, “doesn’t want to be in the same room as Harry and Meghan,” the insider reveals, “let alone pretend things are all well and good because they suddenly want to play happy family reunion.”

As Examiner previously reported, a source says Harry, 41, and Meghan, 44, are pushing hard for a reconciliation with King Charles III ahead of their upcoming visit, even sending a “huge gift basket” to the 77-year-old monarch and his wife to mark the third anniversary of their joint coronations on Wednesday, May 6.
However, Camilla is “letting everyone know that she feels any sort of leniency towards the Sussexes is a grave mistake,” says the insider. “As far as she’s concerned, Charles needs to stop being naïve and see them for the threat that they are.”
The queen consort “can’t even fathom that he could possibly forgive Harry for what he and Meghan [have] said about them,” the insider adds, and is “appalled that they managed to rope Charles into their little charade and made it her mission to stop it.”
