“Sarah keeps saying that she could tell her side of the story without upsetting anyone at the palace, but Eugenie and Beatrice are adamant that’s not possible,” says the source. “They know that any publisher willing to pay the sort of money their mother is after is going to want to extract plenty of juicy details.”
Plus, “even if by some miracle she was able to publish something innocuous, it would still upset everyone in the [royal] family because it would put the spotlight back on a topic they’re all desperately trying to move past,” the source notes.

Beatrice, 38, and Eugenie, 36, are even willing to dip into their own pockets to help Fergie, 66, out financially as she struggles to make ends meet, reveals the source.
Fergie, who previously said through a representative that she was “taken in” by Epstein’s “lies,” denies any wrongdoing and maintains her innocence.
“The girls have been resistant to helping her out financially because it’s likely to be neverending,” admits the source. “But they’re now saying it may be the only option if they want to avoid the total destruction that’s guaranteed if she goes ahead with this book.”
