Priscilla Presley and Barbara Eden Share a ‘Genuine’ Friendship After Bonding Over Elvis Connection

It was a friendship decades in the making!

After giving Elvis Presley marriage advice early on in his relationship with Priscilla Presley, Barbara Eden finally met the King of Rock ‘N’ Roll’s ex-wife in 2022 — and a source tells Examiner the women have enjoyed a close bond ever since.

“Barbara has a lot of love and respect for Priscilla,” reveals the source. “She really admires the way she’s handled everything that life has thrown at her. Plus, she appreciates the way she’s honored Elvis’ memory.”

In fact, the ladies’ long-awaited face-to-face took place during a Graceland event celebrating the legacy of the late music icon, who was just 43 years old when he passed away in 1977. The I Dream of Jeannie legend, 94, even documented the “wonderful” day on Instagram, calling it “a joy” to connect with the former Mrs. Presley, 81, at last.

“Barbara has stayed in touch with the family over the years and always been very supportive,” says the source. “This isn’t a friendship that either of them has wanted to put on display — Barbara and Priscilla are both private people, and they appreciate that what they have is genuine and not some showbiz friendship.”

Early on, Eden recalled to the businesswoman how the “Heartbreak Hotel” singer sought romantic guidance from her while filming 1960’s Flaming Star, per a 2023 Fox News Digital interview.

“Elvis confided in Barbara a lot as he was courting Priscilla,” shares Examiner‘s source. “She became something of a sounding board for him.”

Though the Presleys ultimately divorced in 1973, following six years of marriage, they remained amicable.
