Princess Beatrice is reportedly in a tough spot as she grapples with the scandal surrounding her father, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.

On Thursday, March 26, royal expert Ian Pelham Turner told Fox News Digital that “the reality is Princess Beatrice is under a lot of pressure at the moment.”

“She’s trying to support her father without annoying the royal family, especially her cousin and heir to the throne, Prince William,” Turner explained.

Turner also noted “it is rumored that her mother wishes to move to Portugal,” referring to Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson.

Royal broadcaster Helena Chard echoed a similar sentiment to the outlet, claiming Beatrice, 37, is “deeply worried and distraught about her wider family life.”

“She can’t come to terms with negative revelations, which have certainly taken a toll,” Chard added.

As Examiner previously reported, the ex-prince’s relation to Jeffrey Epstein has been called into question, with William and his wife, Princess Kate, releasing a statement on February 9 through their spokesperson, which read: “I can confirm The Prince and Princess have been deeply concerned by the continuing revelations. Their thoughts remain focused on the victims,” per People.

Andrew — who was stripped of his royal titles and honors in 2025 by his brother King Charles III — was then arrested on February 19 on suspicion of misconduct in public office amid allegations that he shared confidential information with the late sex offender while working as a British trade envoy.

Andrew has not yet been charged and has repeatedly denied wrongdoing.

Meanwhile, a source told Examiner earlier this month that Beatrice and her younger sister Eugenie, 35, “are well aware that William would like to see them cut out, the same way their father and mother have been,” but alleged the sisters “aren’t going to let that happen without pushing back hard.”

Additionally, Examiner reported in December that the two girls didn’t spend Christmas with their parents, instead opting to join the rest of the royal family in Sandringham, per photos obtained by People.
