King Charles III wants Prince William to mend his relationship with Prince Harry, according to a source.
A source told Examiner, the Sovereign, 76, is “urging” the Prince of Wales, 43, to “swallow his pride and see the bigger picture,” when it comes to mending fences with his brother, the Duke of Sussex, 41.
“He needs for his son to stay stable and cool-headed, not flying off the handle and waging war with his own flesh and blood,” the source explains.
The source claims Charles feels that William doesn’t need “to be close” with Harry or his wife, Meghan Markle, but that “there’s no point alienating them or making the situation any worse.”
“There’s a real sense that the king is trying all in his power to soothe over family tensions and get things in order before William takes the crown,” the source adds.

On September 10, Charles and Harry reunited for a sit-down tea in London, marking the end of their 19-month estrangement. However, William was not present and has yet to reconcile with the Spare author.
Last week, a spokesperson for Harry told The Sun that he wasn’t trying to get in the middle of his dad and brother’s relationship.
“Categorically not. Harry is not trying to drive a wedge between the Prince of Wales and the king,” the spokesperson stated.
Following Harry’s meeting with his father, he told The Guardian, “You cannot have reconciliation before you have truth,” and said he had no regrets about penning his candid memoir, Spare.
“I don’t believe that I aired my dirty laundry in public,” he told the outlet. “It was a difficult message, but I did it in the best way possible. My conscience is clear.”
