Prince William ‘Watching’ to ‘See Who Is With Him And Who Is Against Him’ Amid Prince Harry’s Return

Princess Beatrice is wisely trying to avoid catching Prince William‘s attention amid Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s controversial return to the U.K., a source tells Examiner.

“Beatrice is having to walk a very fine line right now thanks to her parents’ mistakes,” the source says of the scandal surrounding Andrew Mountbatten Windsor and Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson‘s close ties to Jeffrey Epstein.

The former Duke and Duchess of York, both 66, have continuously denied any wrongdoing and maintained their innocence, with Fergie previously stating via a representative that she was “taken in” by Epstein’s “lies.”

“The last thing [Beatrice] needs is to get in more hot water by coming out swinging for the Sussexes when everyone knows how touchy William is about the situation,” notes the source. “He’s watching very closely to see who is with him and who is against him.

So far, “she’s managed to keep her title and all her perks,” the source says of the 38-year-old royal. “But it’s no secret her standing with William is hanging by a very thin thread.”

As Examiner previously reported, William, 44, pushed for Beatrice and her sister, Princess Eugenie, to be banned from the Royal Ascot earlier this year.

King Charles III “stepped in to sort things out,” the source says. “But in the end, neither of them went” to the annual horse racing event.

“And it’s not just herself that Beatrice has to think of,” adds the source. “This affects her husband [Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi] too. Courting any more drama is bound to put even more strain on him and their marriage, so it’s understandable that she wants to avoid the whole mess.”
