Ex-Prince Andrew Reportedly Bracing for New Life With ‘Skeleton Staff’ in Tiny Farmhouse

Andrew Mountbatten Windsor’s royal fall is about to feel even steeper. The disgraced royal, 65 — who was ordered by King Charles III to vacate the 30-room Royal Lodge — is now preparing for a drastically downsized life at Marsh Farm on the Sandringham Estate, where he’ll be served by little more than a “skeleton staff,” a source told Daily Mail.

According to a story published by the outlet on Saturday, January 24, most of Andrew’s longtime household employees — including his butler, chef, gardener and housekeepers — have declined to follow him to his humble new outpost in Norfolk, England. Instead, they’re being paid off with what one insider called “generous” severance packages.

Amid the impending move, which reportedly will take place by the end of January, tensions are also simmering between Andrew and his ex-wife, Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson, who had been living with him at Royal Lodge and will also need to find a new home, the Daily Mail reported.

Andrew was evicted by his brother amid continued fallout over his connection to late convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein and allegations made by late sex trafficking victim Virginia Giuffre. He has vehemently denied any wrongdoing.

Ferguson, 66, who lost her title as Duchess of York when Andrew relinquished his titles as a result of the Epstein scandal, is “on a knife edge and bursting out crying several times a day,” a source told the Daily Mail.

Meanwhile, royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told British news program GB News that Sarah will “almost certainly try some sort of comeback,” likely at Andrew’s expense by spilling his secrets.

“Andrew is terrified Sarah will try to salvage her own reputation by throwing him under the bus,” a source previously told Examiner.
