Kentucky Man Busted on DUI Charges for Riding His Horse While Allegedly Intoxicated
Kentucky man Jorge Hernandez, 48, was charged with DUI for riding a horse drunk in Bowling Green, slurring speech and smelling of alcohol with a liquor bag tied to the saddle.
Kentucky cops weren’t horsing around when they busted a man on DUI charges for riding his steed while allegedly drunk as a skunk!
Jorge Hernandez, 48, reportedly told officers that he was returning home from a trip to a liquor store after being spotted slumped over in the saddle while riding the horse in a Bowling Green residential area. According to local outlet WBKO, police say Hernandez smelled of booze, had bloodshot eyes, and was slurring his speech. Tied to the saddle was a liquor store bag, officers add.
After putting Hernandez through a number of field sobriety tests, cops slapped on the cuffs and charged him with operating a non-motor vehicle under the influence of intoxicants.
The officer’s report lists the make and model of Hernandez’s vehicle as “other,” the color as brown and the vehicle’s year as 2024.
