Tim McGraw’s Health Recovery ‘Hasn’t Been Easy’ But Country Singer is ‘Getting Around OK Now’

Tim McGraw has been battling back from multiple surgeries on his knees and back … and has a new bounce in his step.

The 58-year-old country star looked fit and muscular — and even sported a surprise clean-shaven head — while recently walking to his recording studio in Nashville.

“Tim’s shaved head and ripped physique aren’t the only things that are attracting attention to him these days,” reveals an insider. “He’s a walking example of how fortitude and faith can banish the aches and pains. It hasn’t been easy, but he’s doing it and getting around OK now.”

The country crooner is also on the mend from a torn rotator cuff and a ruptured disc, and he credits his devoted wife, Faith Hill, 57, and family for helping him recover.

“They give him love and support, and encourage him every day to take it slow and not push himself too far,” the insider says. “He’s back in the studio, and he’s got performances lined up this summer into fall. He can’t wait to get back onstage for the fans.”
