Reba McEntire Opens Up About Love, Joy and Life at 70 Amid Rex Linn Engagement: ‘It’s Wonderful’

Reba McEntire is speaking out about her life in her 70s and the country legend said she’s “happier now than I’ve ever been in my life.”

“It’s amazing,” McEntire, 70, told People in an interview published on Tuesday, October 21. “It’s wonderful being 70 and getting to do what I get to do at the level I want to do it.”

While she skyrocketed to fame for her music — which has earned her multiple Grammy awards over the years — McEntire has also managed to parlay that into a successful career in movies and television. She’s returning as one of the coaches on The Voice and the second season of her sitcom Happy’s Place is set to premiere on November 7.

Season 28 of The Voice marks McEntire’s fourth time as a judge, and she gushed about some of her fellow coaches, including Michael Bublé, Niall Horan and Snoop Dogg.

“What I love about the three that I’m with, we say our prayer before we go in,” the “Fancy” singer told the publication. “Snoop instigated that.”

McEntire’s personal life is going just as great as her professional life, and she opened up about her relationship with fiancé Rex Linn, whom she works with on the set of Happy’s Place.

“I’ve never been loved by a man like Rex Linn,” the Tremors star explained. “Rex is a very tender-hearted man, and I just love him with all my heart. He’s a good guy. Real bashful though. Wherever we go, that is our Happy’s Place.”
