The Royal Family is speaking out as more information comes to light regarding Andrew Mountbatten Windsor and his connection to late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

On Monday, February 9, King Charles III addressed the latest news that the former Prince Andrew, 65, allegedly shared confidential information with Epstein related to his role as a trade envoy — and that Thames Valley Police is investigating.

“The King has made clear, in words and through unprecedented actions, his profound concern at allegations which continue to come to light in respect of Mr. Mountbatten-Windsor’s conduct,” Buckingham Palace said in a statement, according to multiple reports.

“While the specific claims in question are for Mr. Mountbatten-Windsor to address, if we are approached by Thames Valley Police, we stand ready to support them as you would expect,” the statement continued.

“As was previously stated, Their Majesties’ thoughts and sympathies have been, and remain with, the victims of any and all forms of abuse,” the statement concluded.

According to the Associated Press, Thames Valley Police launched the inquiry after it was reported that emails suggest the former Duke of York sent the late financier reports from a tour of Southeast Asia he took in 2010.

Andrew and his ex-wife, Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson, have made headlines in recent days as their names have been found numerous times in a new batch of recently released Epstein files.

Princess Kate and Prince William also issued a statement via a spokesperson, who said, “I can confirm the Prince and Princess have been deeply concerned by the continuing revelations. Their thoughts remain focused on the victims.”

Last year, Andrew was publicly stripped of his royal honors and duties by his brother, 77, amid renewed scrutiny in his ties to Epstein. Though Andrew has maintained his innocence and consistently denied any wrongdoing, more damning allegations against him have come to light in recent months.

Feguson, who previously said via a representative that she was “taken in” by Epstein’s “lies,” also denies any wrongdoing and consistently maintains her innocence with regard to the scandal.

Both were forced to vacate Royal Lodge, where they have lived practically rent-free for years.
