If Andrew Mountbatten Windsor can no longer have the 30-room mansion known as Royal Lodge, he’s allegedly willing to settle for a slightly smaller estate, as long as it includes all of the luxe amenities he’s grown accustomed to, royal experts claimed to Fox News Digital.
“We hear he is reeling and wants to be treated fairly, especially as he is giving up the perfectly valid lease on his beloved Royal Lodge,” British broadcaster and royal expert Helena Chard told the outlet in their Thursday, December 4, report.
King Charles III ordered his brother to vacate his longtime Windsor home at the same time that he was stripped of his titles in October. As Examiner previously reported, Andrew will be exiled to the king’s private property: Sandringham Estate in rural Norfolk, England.
“Andrew feels frustrated, having been pushed into downgrading his accommodation, and is allegedly now demanding a suitable six- or seven-bedroom house on the Sandringham estate,” the photojournalist continued. “He feels he is entitled to all the staff he is accustomed to, including a cook, housekeeper, gardener, driver and police security.”
The former Duke of York, 65, has encountered a slew of setbacks due to his connection to late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein; however — because he has always maintained his innocence amid a flurry of damning allegations and was never charged with any wrongdoing — experts claim Andrew feels slighted by the king’s latest orders.

“Remember, Andrew’s titles were not pulled because he was found legally guilty of a crime, but because of the ‘continued accusations’ against him that ‘distract from the work of His Majesty and the royal family,’ as he wrote in a statement published by Buckingham Palace in early October,” royal commentator Meredith Constant told Fox.
She added that the father of two — who shares Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie with ex-wife Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson — feels “entitled because he was born entitled.”
Hilary Fordwich, another royal expert, told the outlet that Andrew is “desperate” to take as much as he can get, including “a vast settlement” — estimated to be about $99 million — along with the fully staffed mansion in Norfolk.
“He’s fighting a losing battle to protect his dignity and his daughters’ status as princesses,” said Fordwich. “[But] his digging is rather embarrassing, achieving the opposite. It further demonstrates how entitled and tone-deaf he is towards public perception, damaging the monarchy overall.”
Andrew — who lived practically rent-free at Royal Lodge with ex-wife Fergie, 66 — has a move-out date of January 31, a source previously told People.
