According to a source, the monarch, 78, was instrumental in getting King Charles III to ban siblings Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice from a series of upcoming events at Buckingham Palace, sparking a behind-the-scenes feud with her sister-in-law.
“Anne is not happy that Eugenie and Beatrice are being frozen out,” confirms the source. “As their aunt, she’s very protective of them and thinks it’s awful that they’re paying the price for what their parents may or may not have done.”
They’ve each maintained their innocence and denied any wrongdoing, with a spokesperson for Ferguson previously saying she was “taken in” by the disgraced businessman’s “lies.”

In 75-year-old Anne’s eyes, Camilla’s snub is especially heartless because Eugenie, 36, is currently pregnant, adds the source.
The princess and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, are expecting their third child.
“Anne doesn’t for one moment believe Charles would be doing this if it weren’t for Camilla calling the shots and insisting on it,” spills the source. “She says this level of coldness is not in her brother’s character — it’s got Camilla’s fingerprints all over it.”
Her mission now is to get the decision reversed, reveals the source.
“She is pushing back and demanding an audience with Charles,” the source dishes. “Anne intends to talk sense to him.”
