Meghan Markle is throwing herself into the launch of As Ever’s holiday collection, but her all-consuming focus on the curated lifestyle brand is leaving zero time for anything else, a source tells Examiner, much to Prince Harry‘s frustration.
“He wants to take her on a romantic little trip and so far, she hasn’t been able to find even one night to get away with him,” reveals the source. “There’s always some sort of work obligation that trumps everything else. Even getting her out to the pub a couple of weeks back took a ton of pushing.”
For the first time since they moved back to the U.K., the Duke, 42, and Duchess of Sussex, who share son Prince Archie, 7, and daughter Princess Lilibet, 5, were photographed out together, enjoying a kids-free lunch at the Falkland Arms in the Cotswolds.
“It’s very frustrating for Harry because it feels like he’s at the bottom of the list,” the source continues. “He understands working hard, but he doesn’t believe in sacrificing life quality for work. He wants her to have some balance.”

However, as a businesswoman and a full-time mother of two, Meghan, 45, “says she doesn’t have the privilege of that,” notes Examiner‘s source.
“She wants to be with her kids whenever possible, do the school run and make them dinner and do the bedtime routine,” the source explains, “which means she’s up early to work before they wake up and she works late into the night.”
Still, “Harry worries she’s putting too much pressure on herself,” says the source. “He understands this is important, but he really wishes she could find a way to relax a little.”
