Months after Andrew Mountbatten Windsor was stripped of his royal titles and kicked out of his longtime mansion, he has reportedly toured his new home, Rob Shuter reported in his Naughty but Nice Substack on Tuesday, January 27.
“The moment he walked in, his face dropped,” a source told Shuter. “He thought it was beneath him. Too small, too isolated — he actually called it the middle of nowhere.”
His new abode, roughly 100 miles north of London, according to CNN, is located in Sandringham. While it remains unclearly which property on the Sandringham Estate Andrew has been ousted to, Shuter reported that the former royal is demanding upgrades.
“He wants a golf course, stables, shooting rights — the works. He’s talking about gutting the bathrooms, redoing the kitchen, rebuilding servant quarters, and upgrading every inch,” another insider revealed to Shuter.
“Andrew fully expects his brother to pay,” a third courtier said. “Renovations, security, a fleet of cars with drivers — even a London flat on the side.”
According to The Times, Andrew’s move to Sandringham will likely take place before Easter.
