She Doesn’t Regret Leaving Hollywood

“It felt like something I had to do to reclaim my own life,” says Cameron, who last starred in 2014’s “Annie.” “It really comes down to: What are you passionate about? For me, it was to build my family.” The actress, 52, and her husband, rocker Benji Madden, welcomed their daughter, Raddix, in 2019 and son, Cardinal, in March 2024.

But She’s Happy To Be Back!

Cameron marked her return to acting with the spy comedy “Back in Action.” Her costar Jamie Foxx convinced her to take the role. “I couldn’t say no to Jamie.. He said, ‘Come with me,’ and I said, ‘OK, let’s do it.’ It’s our third film together, so it’s really great.” The two previously costarred in 2014’s “Annie” and 1999’s “Any Given Sunday.”

She Does Her Own Stunts.

“I love training for fight sequences — it’s a week of getting bruises, cuts and sprains, but it’s also a lot of fun,” says Cameron, who showed off her combat skills in films including “Charlie’s Angels” and “Knight and Day.”

She Started Her Own Wine Brand.

In 2020, Cameron cofounded the clean wine brand Avaline with her friend and business partner Katherine Power. “It’s hard to believe that we’ve been on this journey for [four] years!” dishes Cameron. “It keeps us pretty busy.”

She and Her Husband Are In Couple Therapy.

“Therapy is a big thing in my family. It’s what we depend on,” says Cameron of the secret to her happy union. “It’s a commitment to work on [our marriage].”
