Pat Sajak may have retired from Wheel of Fortune last year, but he and his former cohost, Vanna White, are proving that they still share a strong friendship.
On Tuesday, August 12, the game show hostess, 68, took to Instagram to share a sweet snap of herself and the retired TV personality, 78, at a restaurant in Hawaii.
White explained she traveled to the Aloha State to watch the Emmy Award winner perform in the play Prescription: Murder at the Hawaii Theatre in Honolulu. Her post also included a shot of her standing underneath the theater’s marquee for the show.
“Had the pleasure of seeing Pat’s awesome performance on stage in Hawaii last weekend!” White captioned the post. “It was great catching up and spending time with him! #foreverfriends.”
Performances for the mystery play ran from July 31 to August 10, and Sajak played the lead role of Dr. Roy Flemming.

Fans took to the comment section of White’s post to share their excitement about the iconic TV duos’ reunion.
“The world’s favorite besties!!! ❤️,” one fan commented.
“Yes! Good to know he’s doing good! 😍,” a second fan penned.
“Nice that y’all are staying in touch 🙌🏻,” a third fan wrote.
Sajak is seemingly enjoying his retirement, as the Examiner reported earlier this week that he was recently spotted grabbing lunch with friends at a steakhouse in Encino, California.
