Vanna White Stuns Fans With Wedding After 12-Year Romance: ‘Surprise! We Got Married!’

Vanna White just revealed three sweet letters: I do!

The Wheel of Fortune legend, 68, announced on Instagram on Wednesday, January 21, that she quietly married her longtime partner, John Donaldson, after more than a decade together.

“Surprise! We got married!” White announced on Instagram, sharing a photo from their private ceremony of Donaldson carrying his blushing bride. She added that after being in love for over 12 years, “we wanted to make it official.”

“We’re excited to share this new joyful chapter in our lives with all of you!” she added, signing off, “Love, Vanna and John.”

White and Donaldson, a California real estate developer, first met at a barbecue in 2012 when a mutual friend introduced them. Sparks flew immediately, and the two have been inseparable since.

In 2023, White told People that their relationship works because “he lets me be me, and I let him be him. There is no drama.” For years, the couple insisted they didn’t need a wedding to feel committed. In 2023, White also told the outlet she already felt married in every way that mattered.

Both White and Donaldson have been married before.  White shares two children, Nicholas “Nikko” Santo Pietro, 31, and Giovanna “Gigi” Santo Pietro, 28, with restaurateur George Santo Pietro.
