Tippi Hedren Celebrates 95th Birthday with Daughter Melanie Griffith: She’s Happy, Healthy and Feisty!

Legendary star Tippi Hedren and loving daughter Melanie Griffith, 67, got together to celebrate “The Birds” star’s landmark 95th birthday!

The still-stunning actress celebrated with a gorgeous and delicious cake that said “Happy Birthday Mor Mor,” which is a Swedish term for “grandmother.” She didn’t have 95 candles to blow out, though, just a few well placed flames for fun.

“My beautiful Mama turned 95 yesterday! She’s happy, healthy and feisty,” Melanie wrote on social media.

Tippi was born Nathalie Kay Hedren in 1930 in Minnesota, and rose to fame as a “Hitchcock Blonde” in the ’60s. She also became an avid animal lover, who’s still caretaker of her own animal sanctuary called Shambala Pre-serve, which is home to lions, tigers and panthers.

Tons of celebrity admirers like Rita Wilson and Demi Moore were among the hundreds of well-wishers who left their messages for Tippi, who adds, “It may not be exciting to the rest of the world, but as a mother and grandmother, it’s the perfect way to celebrate.”
