Theresa Caputo Reflects on Her Journey from ‘The Long Island Medium’ to TV Star and Jewelry Designer

TV clairvoyant Theresa Caputo says her life today is a dream come true! “I never thought in a million years that I would be where I am,” says Theresa, 57, who first rose to fame on her TLC reality series “The Long Island Medium.” She has gone on to launch the successful “Hey Spirit!” podcast, become a New York Times best-selling author and land her latest TV series, “Raising Spirits.”

“I literally feel like this is a dream. I put my gift in God’s hands. And that’s why I say … ‘where I am divinely guided.’”

She’s also celebrating the launch of her new jewelry line — Divinely Guided by Theresa Caputo & LIVY.

“There’s just something special and unique about this jewelry line,” Caputo dishes. “These pieces that we’ve created are these little ‘hellos’ from heaven.”

Theresa says she realized very early on in her life that she was able to communicate with the dead.

“I’ve been sensing things since I was 4 years old,” says Theresa. “It wasn’t until 9/11 that I had this profound experience where it was shown to me that people needed a gift of healing.

“When I was younger, I used to see them full figure. Now, I see shadow silhouettes, and it’s more a feeling and a knowing. Sometimes I hear things, but it’s not the way we hear each other communicate. I see flashes of things, like little movie strips, and words come out of my mouth. I don’t know how this works. It just happens.”
