Snoop Dogg And Daughter Cori Broadus Closer Than Ever

Snoop Dogg‘s beloved daughter Cori Broadus was planning her wedding when a life-threatening stroke led to a major health crisis and an even stronger bond with her famous father!

“I was celebrating at a party and then the next day. I’m in the hospital,” recalls Cori, 25, whose mom is Snoop’s wife of 27 years, Shante Broadus, 53.

But seeing his princess in jeopardy was devastating to Snoop.

“It’s hard for me to revisit that day,” admits the 53-year-old “The Voice” coach, real name Calvin Broadus. “Anyone who knows me knows my daughter is my kryptonite.”

Cori, the founder of Choc Factory cosmetics, adds, “I think it really scared everyone. A stroke is no joke. It brought me and my family closer. Anything can happen in a snap of a finger.”

At age 6, Cori was diagnosed with the chronic autoimmune disease lupus, and once tried to commit suicide while battling depression.

But the latest health crisis has brought dad and daughter even closer. The father of three sons, Snoop points out, “She’s my only daughter. That in itself is special. It puts things in perspective.”

Their bond makes for “a beautiful relationship, ” Cori says. “I’m the princess. He had boys and then me, his baby girl. It’s time a different type of love. You have to be softer, more loving and caring, and more sensitive and fragile. I have these heart-to-hearts with him and I feel like I’m the only one he really listens to when it’s time to get serious.”
