Persistence paid off for “Jurassic Park” fanatic Scarlett Johansson. “I was really crazy about the film, and I slept in a Jurassic Park pup tent in my bedroom I shared with my sister for a year,” shares Scarlett.
“Anytime the trades would report a new ‘Jurassic’ movie, I would forward to my agents like, ‘Hey, I’m available.’ ” For 10 years, she begged for a role, even if she’d die in the first five minutes.
She got a meeting with Steven Spielberg and explains her strategy: “Just be professional. Don’t seem desperate. Don’t mention the tent.” It worked — she’s starring in a franchise reboot, “Jurassic World Rebirth,” this summer.
