Ricki Lake is grateful to be celebrating her her fourth anniversary with her husband, Ross Burningham, after a challenging year.
“Ross, I love doing life with you,” the former talk show host, 57, wrote on Instagram on Friday, January 2, before heaping praise on the 58-year-old lawyer, whom she met on a blind date in 2020 and wed in 2022.
“This year has rocked our world like no other and yet, through our committed partnership and bond we have managed to rise from the ashes, quite literally and pivot, and still find the joy and wonder in all of life’s surprises and hardships,” the Hair Spray actress added.

The couple were left devastated at the beginning of 2025 when they lost their Malibu home to the Los Angeles wildfires.
Lake and Burningham have since relocated to New York City, and she is positive about what 2026 has in store for them.
“I’m so proud of how we have rallied and created a new and exciting next chapter for us in NYC,” she wrote. “Thx for saying yes, on that day 4 years ago and every day thereafter. 2026 is gonna be good. I love you.”

In an interview with People published on Sunday, January 4, Lake reflected on “healing” after a life-changing year. “It’s crazy, because what we have been through from the start of the year was so traumatic and we were so at a loss of where we were going to go,” the Dancing with the Stars alum said. “We made this very impulsive decision to move here. And honestly, it’s been the best thing we could have done for both of us.”
Lake was previously married to Rob Sussman, 60 — with whom she shares sons Milo, 28, and Owen, 24 — from 1994 to 2004. She was also wed to late jewelry designer Christian Evans from 2012 to 2015.
