The Duke of Sussex misses home — and it shows. Prince Harry had a spring in his step during his recent trip back to the U.K. to meet with his father, King Charles III, for the first time in 19 months. When the 41-year-old wasn’t tending to important family business, he was on royal duty, so to speak.

On Sept. 8 he attended the Well-Child Awards, where he spoke with kids impacted by illness. He also spent time at a youth project in Nottingham, where he generously made a $2.25 million personal donation to BBC Children in Need. And his bright smile never left his face once. “It was like seeing the happy-go-lucky Harry of old,” said an eyewitness.
