Paul Simon’s Daughter Reveals She ‘Still’ Hates Richard Gere, Wants Him to ‘Descend’ into ‘Madness’

There’s a Bridge Over Troubled Water between the families of music giant Paul Simon and Richard Gere. Paul’s daughter, Lulu Simon, is blasting the Pretty Woman star for selling her childhood mansion to developers who plan to demolish it!

“Just in case anyone was wondering if I still hate Richard Gere – I do!” Lulu, 30, posted on Instagram, claiming that the An Officer and a Gentleman actor, 75, who bought the estate for $10.8 million in 2022, “promised he would take care of the land as [a] condition of his purchase. [He] proceeded to never actually move in & just sold it to developer as 9 separate plots.”

It’s not clear what Gere, who moved to Spain to be near his wife Alejandra‘s family, promised. But Lulu isn’t letting sleeping dogs lie: “I hope my dead pets buried in that backyard haunt you until you descend into a slow and unrelenting madness.”
