It’s the end of an era: After more than eight decades in grocery store freezers, Minute Maid is pulling the plug on the frozen juice products that helped launch the brand.

On Thursday, February 5, The Coca-Cola Company, which owns Minute Maid, confirmed to USA TODAY that it will discontinue all frozen Minute Maid juices in the first quarter of 2026. The move ends a category that dates back to the company’s earliest days.

“We are discontinuing our frozen products and exiting the frozen can category in response to shifting consumer preferences,” The Coca-Cola Company said in a statement. “With the juice category growing strongly, we’re focusing on products that better match what our consumers want.”

Shoppers may still find frozen Minute Maid products in stores for a limited time, as remaining inventory will be sold while supplies last. The discontinued lineup includes frozen orange juice (original, pulp-free and country-style), lemonade, limeade, pink lemonade and raspberry lemonade.

Frozen juice was the foundation of the brand. In 1946, the company, then operating under a different name, shipped its first frozen orange juice concentrate after a failed wartime contract for powdered orange juice pushed it to pivot. The product’s convenience inspired the name “Minute Maid,” and the rest became food-industry history.
