Michael Douglas wasn’t holding back as he put Joe Rogan on the spot over his seemingly shifting views on President Donald Trump.

During Wednesday’s episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, the 82-year-old Oscar winner bluntly asked the host, 59, how he feels about the president, 80, “now.”

“If you want me to support all these terrible [expletive] ideas just because I would be a good person and I’d be a Democrat, like no, it doesn’t make any sense,” Rogan admitted. “That’s how I felt.”

“I know that’s how you felt,” the American President star responded. “What I’m curious about is, how do you feel now?”

“Well, how I feel now is I do not like this Iran war in any way, shape, or form,” Rogan replied. “It doesn’t make any sense for us. It seems like it’s getting really out of hand.”

Rogan then detailed his frustrations with the Trump administration since the president returned to office for a second term.

“What Trump stood for, some of it turned out to not be real,” Rogan said. “Like one of them was the [idea of] ‘No wars.’ Well, look, we’re at war with Iran, so that wasn’t real.”

“The other thing was closing the border. That is real. But then with that, then you have ICE… It’s nuts to just give someone a $50,000 signing bonus,” the former Fear Factor host continued. “You train them for seven weeks and then give them guns, and you have a militarized force running through the [expletive] city streets and put a mask on your face.”

Although Rogan has not definitively said whether he regrets voting for Trump, he explained that one of the main reasons he supported the president was his campaign promise to keep the U.S. out of wars.

“I think the majority of the United States felt like one of the things that we were voting for when we voted for Trump is no more wars,” Rogan said, describing the ongoing war with Iran as a “giant quagmire.”
