MARTHA STEWART claims her stay in West Virginia’s Alderson Federal Prison Camp, nicknamed “Camp Cupcake,” was no treat. After accidentally brushing up against an officer, Martha, who was found guilty of conspiracy and obstruction of justice among other charges in the ImClone stock trading case, says, “I was told never, ever touch a guard” and “was dragged into solitary with no food or water for a day.

This was Camp Cupcake, remember? It was not a cupcake.” A federal prison spokesperson says inmates are “provided with the basic necessities of life including regular meals three times a day and access to potable water regardless of where they are housed.”
