Liam Neeson Signals the End of His Action Era—But Not Just Yet
After slaughtering bad guys in revenge flicks like Taken, Cold Pursuit and The Marksman, gravel-voiced Liam Neeson is hanging up his butt-kicking boots.
“I’m 72 — it has to stop at some stage,” growls the 6-foot-4, 225-pound screen hero. Liam’s new rock ’em, sock ’em flick, Absolution, features him as an aging gangster trying to right past wrongs. But he hasn’t set a date for the retirement of his action man and will play an avenger in a project filming next year!
He admits: “You can’t fool audiences. I don’t want [longtime stunt double] Mark Vanselow to be fighting my fight scenes for me.”
