Kevin Costner’s Dog Bob Becomes a Fan Favorite Behind the Set of ‘Horizon: An American Saga’
Movie vet Kevin Costner’s dog Bob is becoming just as famous as he is.
The Field of Dreams star introduced his Labrador to his social media followers last year, and since then, in almost every photo, there’s Bob!
The four-legged family member has become Costner’s constant companion, even spending his days on the Horizon: An American Saga set, where the third installment of the 4-part Western was filmed recently.
The actor, 70, says he and his pooch have a lot in common.
“I’m like Bob,” says Kevin, explaining that he and his canine buddy share the tendency to go from zero to 60 in a flash.
“Bob just gets in the car. He does not care where we go. Bob’s lazy: all he does is sleep. He just goes ‘woof’ at the door a few times,” explains the Yellowstone alum. “But if I put Bobby in the field, you see his IQ go up 30 points. He looks like an Adonis of dogs. He knows exactly who he is.”
Kevin points out that, “I can be very passive in my life, but once I commit to a movie, I’m relentless there. All they have to do is get me [to the set] and then I know what I’m doing. I become like Bobby.
“I’m not sure what’s going on, but you get me on a set, and my IQ goes up 30 points … I know what I need to do.”
