Kevin Costner Has His Eye on ‘Smoking Hot’ Elizabeth Hurley After Christine Baumgartner Divorce (Exclusive)

Kevin Costner is single and ready to mingle, and according to a source, he’s had his eye on Elizabeth Hurley for decades – despite her current budding relationship with Billy Ray Cyrus.

The former Yellowstone star, 70, knew Hurley, 60, “in her prime” when he was dating her then-roommate Birgit Cunningham back in the late ’90s.

“[He] always thought she was smoking hot,” the source exclusively tells the Examiner. “There was a genuine connection there, and rumors circulated at the time that they may have actually hooked up, though neither of them ever admitted it.”

The Bedazzled star has been on Costner’s mind “a whole lot” since then, “especially in the months after his divorce” from ex-wife Christine Baumgartner, the source reveals. (Costner and Baumgartner separated in May 2023; their divorce was finalized in February 2024.) Costner even “confided” that he’d “leap at the chance to get with Liz” if he ever got the opportunity.”

“He’s still in the market for dating and Liz is the perfect age for him and perfect fame level,” adds the source. “She lives an exciting life; he admires her free spirit.”

While her romance with the “Achy Breaky Heart” singer, 63, is the “only thing in the way,” the source tells the Examiner that “if that changes, he’ll be all over it.”

Cyrus and Hurley confirmed their romance in April with a sweet snapshot of the country star kissing the actress on the cheek. On July 30, they cozied up for another selfie as they showed off a tortoise they found in England.
