Henry Winkler’s ‘Happy Days’ Leather Jacket and More Iconic TV Memorabilia Being Auctioned Off

Hollywood buffs, get ready to bid your hearts out! Props from the Golden Era of TV — the 1950s to the 1970s — are being auctioned off at Heritage Auction (ha.com) through Oct. 24.

The auctions, titled “To the Moon, Alice,” “To the Batcave,” and “Beam Me Up, Scotty,” boast more than 300 items from The Honeymooners, The Munsters, Get Smart, Star Trek, Batman, I Dream of Jeannie and many more.

There’s the iconic red shirt (starting bid $10,000) and white bucket hat ($5,000) Bob Denver wore on Gilligan’s Island, Henry Winkler’s Happy Days leather jacket ($15,000) and the Starfleet uniforms donned by William Shatner ($20,000) and Leonard Nimoy ($15,000) in the original Star Trek.

Batman fans with a thick wallet can bid on Adam West’s and Burt Ward’s Signature Dynamic Duo Costumes ($200,000 for the pair!), Yvonne Craig’s Batgirl getup ($25,000), Julie Newmar’s Catwoman costume ($15,000), or Cesar Romero’s Joker garb ($25,000), along with many props from the 1960s TV series.

Or think how super it would be to have George Reeves’ Superman Iconic “S” Chest Insignia ($3,000)!

Bring back childhood memories with Bob Keeshan’s Captain Kangaroo Signature Uniform ($5,000), Bob’s Signature Red Suit Jacket ($2,000), or Hugh Brannum’s Mr. Green Jeans Signature Green Overalls ($1,000).

Other cool items up for bid include Don Adams’ Maxwell Smart Get Smart Shoe Phone ($5,000), the Get Smart, Again! Cone of Silence ($2,000), Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In Flying Fickle Finger of Fate Trophy ($525) and Lynda Carter’s Wonder Woman costume ($100,000).

There’s everything but the kitchen sink. Actually, that’s not true. The Kramden Family Kitchen Sink from The Honeymooners is up for grabs ($10,000).

The collection belonged to Stewart Berkowitz. “My dad started this collection before the auction world for this kind of material existed,” says Berkowitz’s son, Jordan Meddy. “He was especially into The Honeymooners and Batman.”

“He was very detail-oriented, and he wanted it to be the most complete, authentic collection possible. He put everything he had into it.”
