From Baby-Sitting to Big Breaks: Patricia Heaton Reveals Her Journey to Hollywood Stardom

Her First Job Was Baby-Sitting.

“My first survival job was working at an empanada shop in Midtown Manhattan and my first acting job was an Anacin commercial,” says Heaton, 67, the “Everybody Loves Raymond” mom who’s starring in a new movie called “The Unbreakable Boy.”

She’s A Collector.

“I collect ceramics and painting of female faces and figures,” says Patricia. “When ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’ wrapped, I took home a ceramic bird from Frank and Marie’s house. I love birds and I couldn’t gt the big fork and spoon [from the ‘Baggage’ episode in season 7] in my car.”

Her Dream Project.

“I have so many dream projects, but I’d like to work with Annette Bening. I’m a fan of everything she does.”

She Loves Her Home In Nashville.

“It’s peaceful,
welcoming and has enough room for my most valuable possession: my family,” says the actress, who has four grown sons with English actor and director David Hunt, who she’s been married to since 1990.

Her Favorite Food.

“Thai or Indian food is my go-to for takeout.”

Montana, Hawaii and London.

Childhood Memories.

Building forts, drawing, acting out books, putting on plays and singing on the swings with her friends.

Her Most Embarrassing Moment.

“During filming, I wet my pants while pregnant on ‘Everyone Loves Raymond.”
