‘Friends’ Alum Matt LeBlanc Reveals Why His ‘Favorite Thing’ to Do is Absolutely Nothing

Friends star Matt LeBlanc, who’s enjoyed a successful acting career and the money that goes with it, reveals he has no shame about his favorite activity: doing nothing!

Matt — who last starred in the sitcom Man With a Plan, which ended in 2020 — revealed on a 2017 episode of Conan that his goal in life was always to retire as soon as possible and relax.

“I think I would like to not do a fing thing, that’s what I would like to do. Just nothing, absolutely nothing, zero,” he told host Conan O’Brien. “Any typical day, sleep as long as you want, or get up early — if you want. It’s just not having to go somewhere or someone else telling you what you have to do. Maybe you want to go to the gym, or not go to the gym. Maybe you have nine cups of coffee, or none.”

Matt, 57, continued: “My favorite thing in the world to do, like my absolute favorite thing in the world, is to do nothing. Because it’s so easy, there’s no rules! What are you gonna do today? I’ll tell you: Nothing, pretty simple.”
