Hollywood beauty Catherine O’Hara has played memorable roles in films and TV, including “Home Alone,” “Beetlejuice” and “Schitt’s Creek,” but she loves them all equally, saying, “I can’t pick a favorite; it’s like picking a favorite child.”

But the 70-year-old actress does stop to reflect on her multifaceted career.

“I don’t know if proud is the word,” she says. “[I’m] grateful really.”

You may have seen her recently when she appeared on the Michelob ULTRA 2025 Super Bowl spot “The ULTRA Hustle” with film star Willem Dafoe.

“I got the script and really laughed reading it,” she reveals. “I’d worked with Willem very briefly on ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice,’ but I didn’t really get to hang out with him much. He’s a great actor, but he also has a great sense of humor.”

And believe it or not, Catherine is still close to her “Home Alone” costar and onscreen son Macaulay Culkin.

“I’m so happy he’s doing so well,” she says. “He’s got his own little lovely family. He’s still got the same face up close. It’s like, oh my God, I’m still looking at that little 8-year-old. I’m just really happy for him.”

She also fondly remembers the movie “Best in Show,” which will be celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. “My dog Winky was the coolest dog in the room,” laughs Catherine. “His real name was Brillo.”

Catherine met her husband, Bo Welch, when he was a production designer on “Beetlejuice” in 1988. They married in 1992 and have two sons, Matthew, 30, and Luke, 27.
