10 Things You Never Knew About Justin Hartley — From Soap Hunk to Primetime Hero!

TV heartthrob Justin Hartley from one of the most popular TV dramas, NBC’s “This Is Us,” to his new CBS thriller “Tracker,” the new No. 1 show on the small screen!

But here are 10 things you probably don’t know about the 48-year-old actor.

1. Justin was born in Knoxville, Ill., and grew up in the Chicago suburb of Orland Park with his brother, Nathan, and sisters, Megan and Gabriella. Their parents are musicians Mark and Jackie Hartley.

2. In high school, Hartley played baseball, soccer and basketball — preparing him for athletic roles. He is the first actor to play Green Arrow in a live action series and also portrayed Aquaman on a TV series.

3. Justin cut his acting teeth on daytime soaps — he was Fox Crane on NBC’s “Passions.”

4. Many “This Is Us” storylines were told in flashback … which played on the ironic twist that in real life, Hartley is seven years older than his TV mom, Mandy Moore!

5. Justin says playing emotional Kevin Pearson on “This Is Us” changed his perspective on life. “Sometimes we need a reset,” he explains. “I mean, when you’re running here and running there, it’s easy to lose track of what’s important and sometimes you just need to step back and reset. That’s one of the things I love about our show. I think it invites you to sit down, reset and figure out what it is that’s really important in your life.”

6. Hartley makes a good gym partner — he likes to throw back a beer or two while working out!

7. Justin doesn’t shy away from social media — he has more than 1 million people following his posts and updates.

8. Hartley has a daughter named Isabella Justice, now a 20-year-old college student, with first wife Lindsay Korman. He was wed to “Selling Sunset” reality star Chrishell Stause from 2017 to 2021 and has been married since 2021 to third wife Sofia Pernas, who had a three-story arc as a rival bounty hunter on “Tracker.”

9. Ex-wife Chrishell took a shot at Justin during her recent appearance on “The Traitors.” During a challenge in which she had insects, critters and snakes dumped on her, Chrishell joked, “This is worst than my first wedding!”

10. Hartley is a big fan of professional wrestling, and his favorite baseball teams are the Chicago Cubs and Los Angeles Dodgers.
